কার বাংলাদেশ কাকে দিয়া জুলাই আন্দোলনকারীরা মুক্তিযুদ্ধের পক্ষশক্তির সাথে স্পষ্ট ব্যবধান গড়ে দিয়েছে গতকাল। বিএনপিসহ অন্যান্য দল কিংবা আপামর জনসাধারণ যারা একাত্তরের মুক্তিযুদ্ধকে সর্বান্তকরণে ওউন করে তাদের সাথে আর এনসিপিয়ানদের বনিবনা হবে না।
স্বীকার করতে হবে -সিপিয়ানরা দুর্দান্ত চালে কঙ্কালসার এক রেজিমের মৃত্যু ঘটিয়েছে। তারা একটি যুগের অবসান টেনে এনেছে, নিঃসন্দেহে সাহসিকতার কাজ। কিন্তু তাতেই কি রাজনীতির পূর্ণাঙ্গ জ্ঞান অর্জিত হয়? এখনো তাদের মধ্যে কূটনৈতিক পরিপক্বতা কিংবা ইতিহাসবোধের সুগন্ধ মেলে না।
আর তাদের পেছনে ঘাপটি মেরে বসে আছে এক শ্রেণির কথিত ‘প্রবুদ্ধ’ গাইড। নিউইয়র্ক, লণ্ডন, প্যারিস কিংবা হেলসিঙ্কির কোনো ক্যাফে থেকে তারা ফিসফিসিয়ে দিচ্ছে নষ্ট স্ট্রাটেজি। কোমলমতি নেতাদের মাথা চিবিয়ে খাচ্ছে এই আন্তর্জাতিক মগজখাদক শ্রেণি। এই ‘মাথা খাদক’দের যদি বলা হয় -তোমার আধুনিক রাষ্ট্রবিজ্ঞানের ডিগ্রি কিংবা আধুনিক বিশ্বে বসে অর্জন করা গৌরবময় পিএইচডি ডিগ্রি খুলে রেখে বাংলাদেশের কোনো কওমি মাদ্রাসায় ঢুকে পড়ো, দেখি কতটা ‘জেনুইন’ তোমার দেশপ্রেম! তারা কোনোদিনই এটা করবে না। তারা মুখ ঘুরিয়ে হাসবে, এমনকি ভাববে -‘তুমি পাগল নাকি?’
তাহলে প্রশ্ন থেকে যায় -যে জায়গায় তোমরা নিজেরা দাঁড়াতে রাজি না, সে জায়গার লোকদের ‘উদ্ধার’ করবার বাহানা করতে তোমাদের এত আগ্রহ কেন? কিসের অধিকারবোধে কওমিদের মগজ চিবিয়ে খাওয়া হচ্ছে? এ কি মুক্তির রাজনীতি, না দখলের ধর্ম?
সিপিয়ানদের প্রতি তাই একটাই পরামর্শ -কারো পাতা নরম পাতার ফাঁদে পা দিও না। নিজের শক্তিতে দাঁড়াও, নিজের ছায়ায় হাঁটো। নিজের অভ্যন্তরের আলোকিত রাজনীতি আবিষ্কার করো। তবেই কাঙ্ক্ষিত গন্তব্যে পৌঁছানো সম্ভব। না হলে সময় খুবই নিষ্ঠুর -যারা ইতিহাস গড়তে চেয়েছিলে, তারাই হয়ে যাবে ইতিহাসের এক পার্শ্বটীকা।

A Marginal Note of History!
Whose Bangladesh is it, and to whom does it belong? The July movement activists have drawn a clear line of separation from the pro-Liberation War forces as of yesterday. The BNP, other parties, and the general public who wholeheartedly embrace the spirit of the 1971 Liberation War can no longer find alignment with the NCPians.
One must admit -the CPIans, with remarkable strategy, have brought down a skeletal regime. They have ushered in the end of an era, and that indeed is an act of courage. But does that alone qualify as complete political wisdom? There is still no fragrance of diplomatic maturity or historical consciousness among them.
And lurking behind them is a class of so called “enlightened” guides. From cafés in New York, London, Paris, or Helsinki, they whisper corrupted strategies. These global brain-hackers are gnawing at the minds of the soft-hearted leaders. If you ask these “mind eaters” to set aside their prestigious degrees in modern political science or their glorious PhDs earned in the developed world and step into a Qawmi madrasa in Bangladesh -just to test how ‘genuine’ their patriotism really is -they would never do it. They would turn their faces, smirk, and even think: “Are you crazy?”
So the question remains -if you yourselves refuse to stand in those spaces, why are you so eager to 'rescue' the people who live there? Under what moral right do you chew up the minds of the Qawmi folk? Is this politics of liberation or a new religion of occupation?
To the CPIans, there is only one piece of advice -do not step into someone else’s trap laid with tender leaves. Stand on your own strength, walk in your own shadow. Discover the enlightened politics within yourself. Only then is the desired destination attainable. Otherwise, time is ruthless -those who once dreamed of shaping history may themselves become a mere marginal note in it. 🫵
