I'm A Man Who Understands Silence
- Tonmoy Datta Mishu

I'm a man who understands silence.
Sitting in the bench of a park,
I see trees.
I see them live, live a full life-
Completely in silence.

The wind talks in silence.
The dark becomes darker in silence.
The human brain works in silence.
The time passes in silence.
The earth moves in silence.
The sun shines in silence.
The ocean keeps secrets in silence.
Failure slaps you in silence.
Success hits you in silence.
You are born in silence.
You die in silence.
Even God loves silence.
So monks breathe in silence.

Maybe I'm deaf
Or maybe I love silence!
Most of all,
I'm a man who understands silence.
