In a village, a man named Harish lived a normal life. His family consisted of five members. Father Habu, mother Ritu, wife Rina, and younger sister Rusha. They all lived in harmony.

Rusha's marriage was fixed a few days after Harish's marriage. Everyone happily married Rusha. Rusha went to her in-laws' house and started a family. Harish was a hardworking man. There was no doubt about that.

Harish's wife had a baby boy. Rina loved her in-laws very much. She named the boy Hriday. This went on for quite some time. The boy was two years old.

For some time, Rina and Harish had a family argument. One day, there was an extra fight, even though it was no one's fault. Harish beat his wife a lot and threw Rina out of the house, leaving her heartbroken. Harish said, "I will never come to this house again." It was night.

Rina has nowhere to go, only her father's house. Her father's house is far away, she has no money or belongings. She doesn't even want to leave her son. He has thrown her out of the house. In her heart of sorrow, she sets off on foot to her father's house. Crying all night and all day, she reaches her father's house in the evening. She calls out at the gate, "Mom, Mom."

Mother opened the gate. Rina ran and hugged her mother. Rina told her parents about all the problems. She said, "Mom, the chicken eggs are spoiled, what do I know! I boiled the eggs, they are hatching. For this, they took my child away, killed me and threw me out."

Mother says, "Rina, don't be sad. Your son-in-law will come to get you." Rina cries to God. She thinks that one day he will come to get her.

Meanwhile, Harish angrily thinks, I have thrown her out, she is gone, I will not go to fetch her again. Harish raises Hridoy with care. He enrolls her in school. Hridoy sees that everyone has a mother, but he does not have one. He sometimes asks his father, his grandparents, "Where is my mother?" They say, "She is dead." He asks their house servants, "Where is my mother?" Some say she is dead, some say she is alive, and some say she is in his mother's name.

Hridoy would mix with everyone. He would ask those who spoke well of Hridoy's mother, "Where is my mother? What is her address?" and listen. A few days passed like this. They had a lot of property, now they could be called rich. Hridoy also grew up.

One day, Hridoy said to his father, "Father, my mother is alive, you bring my mother back!" Harish thought, the boy has grown up, he understands everything, he has come to know. So he remained silent. Hridoy said, "Father, if you don't bring my mother back, then I will go and look for my mother. Until I can find my mother and bring her back, I will not come back to this house."

Saying this, Hridoy took some of his savings and rode away on horseback. Harish remained silent and looked at his son.

Hridoy set off for the address that his mother had found. When Hridoy arrived, he saw an old house. He knocked on the door. A came out. He asked, "Is there anyone named Reena?" The man said, "They sold this house fifteen years ago and moved away.

Hridoy said, "Where did they go? What is the name of the village?" The man said, "Father, I don't know. But I heard that Dutta's house is about one hundred and seventeen kilometers away from here." Hearing this, he set off for Dutta's house. When he got there, he asked, "Which Dutta's house is it?" Everyone said, "It was there before, but it's not there now. They've all gone!" "Where did they go?" Everyone said, "I don't know, where have they gone."

Hridoy was filled with a lot of worries. Whatever money he had saved was running out. What would he eat, and where would he go to look for his mother? Because he had told his father that he would not return home until he found his mother.

Thinking like this, he went and searched, "Do you know anyone from the Dutta family? Where have they gone?" As he went, he felt hungry. With the money he had, he bought some chira and ate it. Tired, he still went. He saw a huge house, surrounded by fruit gardens and ponds.

Hridoy takes a breath in the shade of a tree at the pond. He thinks, there is no more money. Where will I find my mother? What does my mother look like! She eats chira like this. After eating chira, he feels thirsty for water. He sees that the water of the pond is as clear as glass. Hridoy goes to drink the water of the pond and sees the image of a beautiful girl in the water. He thinks, who is the girl? He looks back and sees the girl holding a gun and looking at him. He says, "Who are you? Where did you come from and why?"

Then he said, "I am Hridoy. I have come from Howrah to look for my mother." "What is your mother's name?" "Reena. Father's name is Harish."

Then the girl dropped the gun, ran over, called "Dad," and hugged him, saying, "Dad, I'm your mother." She took the boy to his father's house and introduced him to his grandparents. They went for a walk, having a lot of fun.

Hridoy brought his mother on horseback to his house. His father was surprised. Then everyone lived happily together.
