আমরা কার ধ্বংস চাই?

বিশ্বব্যাপী চলমান রাজনৈতিক সংকট ও সাম্প্রদায়িক উত্তেজনার মধ্যেও কিছু মৌলিক প্রশ্ন আমাদের ভাবায় -আমরা কার ধ্বংস চাই? আমরা কি সত্যিই কোনো জাতির বিনাশ কামনা করি, নাকি ন্যায়বিচারের দাবিতে সোচ্চার হই?

ইসরায়েলের বর্তমান জনসংখ্যা প্রায় ৯৭ লাখ, যার মধ্যে প্রায় ২১% মানুষ আরব ধর্মাবলম্বী, প্রধানত মুসলিম। ইসরায়েলে ৪০০-এরও বেশি মসজিদ রয়েছে, যার মধ্যে জেরুজালেমে প্রায় ৭৩টি। আল-আকসা মসজিদ, মারওয়ানি মসজিদ, উমর মসজিদ, আবেদিন মসজিদ, সুলতান ইবরাহিম ইবনে আদম মসজিদ, এল-জাজার মসজিদ (আক্রা), মাহমুদ মসজিদ (হাইফা​), সাদা মসজিদ (নাসরত​), আল বাহার মসজিদ (তেল আবিব), হাসান বেক মসজিদ (তেল আবিব​), সিন্ধা আলী মসজিদ (হির জলিয়া​) সহ অনেক ঐতিহাসিক ইসলামিক স্থাপনা এখানেই অবস্থিত। এই মসজিদগুলো মুসলিম সম্প্রদায়ের ধর্মীয় ও সাংস্কৃতিক জীবনের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কেন্দ্রবিন্দু।

অন্যদিকে, ভারতের মুসলিম জনগোষ্ঠী প্রায় ৩০ কোটি, যা বিশ্বের অন্যতম বৃহৎ মুসলিম জনগোষ্ঠী। দেশটিতে রয়েছে প্রায় ৬ লাখ মসজিদ। ভারত থেকেই দেওবন্দী আন্দোলনসহ ইসলামিক পুনর্জাগরণবাদী অনেক ধারা উৎপত্তি লাভ করেছে। মঈনুদ্দিন চিশতি (র.) ও নিজামুদ্দিন আউলিয়া (র.)-এর মতো মহান সুফি সাধকের সমাধি এখানেই অবস্থিত।

অর্থাৎ, সামগ্রিকভাবে যদি দেখা যায়, মুসলিম সভ্যতা ও সংস্কৃতি কেবল নির্দিষ্ট কোনো রাষ্ট্রের মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ নয়। বরং এটি বহুদেশে ছড়িয়ে আছে, যার প্রতিটি অংশের মধ্যে রয়েছে ঐতিহ্য, ধর্মীয় চর্চা ও আত্মপরিচয়ের মেলবন্ধন।

গা'জায় চলমান মানবতাবিরোধী আগ্রাসনের বিরুদ্ধে ই'সরায়েলের ভেতরেই বিক্ষোভ ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। হাজারো মানুষ তেল আবিবের মহাসড়ক অবরোধ করে নে'তানিয়াহু সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে প্রতিবাদ জানিয়েছে। বিক্ষোভকারীদের বড় অংশই ই'হুদি, যারা সামরিক দখলদারিত্বের বিরুদ্ধে শান্তির পক্ষে অবস্থান নিয়েছে।

এখন প্রশ্ন হলো, আমরা কাদের বিরুদ্ধে রুখে দাঁড়াব? যদি আমরা বিচার-বিবেচনা না করে ঢালাওভাবে কোনো দেশ বা জাতির প্রতি বিদ্বেষ দেখাই, তবে সত্যিকারের নিরপরাধ মানুষও তার শিকার হবে। ইতিহাসের শিক্ষা হলো, কোনো জাতির সামগ্রিক অস্তিত্ব নয়, বরং অন্যায়-অত্যাচারের বিরুদ্ধে অবস্থান নেওয়াই আমাদের লক্ষ্য হওয়া উচিত।

তাই ধ্বংস চাই অন্যায়ের, ধ্বংস চাই নিপীড়নের। কিন্তু মানুষ হিসেবে আমাদের ন্যায়বিচার প্রতিষ্ঠার পক্ষে থাকতে হবে -বিদ্বেষের পক্ষে নয়।

Whose Destruction Do We Seek?

Amid the ongoing global political crises and communal tensions, some fundamental questions continue to haunt us -Whose destruction do we truly seek? Do we genuinely wish for the annihilation of any nation, or do we raise our voices for justice?

The current population of Israel is approximately 9.7 million, of which around 21% are Arabs, primarily Muslims. There are over 400 mosques in Israel, including about 73 in Jerusalem. The country is home to numerous historic Islamic landmarks such as Al-Aqsa Mosque, Marwani Mosque, Umar Mosque, Abedin Mosque, Sultan Ibrahim Ibn Adham Mosque, Al-Jazzar Mosque (Acre), Mahmood Mosque (Haifa), White Mosque (Nazareth), Al-Bahr Mosque (Tel Aviv), Hassan Bek Mosque (Tel Aviv), and Sidna Ali Mosque (Herzliya). These mosques serve as significant religious and cultural centers for the Muslim community.

On the other hand, India has a Muslim population of nearly 300 million, making it one of the largest Muslim populations in the world. The country has around 600,000 mosques. Many Islamic revivalist movements, including the Deobandi movement, originated in India. It is also home to the shrines of great Sufi saints like Moinuddin Chishti (R.A.) and Nizamuddin Auliya (R.A.).

This illustrates that Islamic civilization and culture are not confined to any single country. Instead, they are spread across multiple nations, each carrying a rich heritage, religious practices, and a collective identity.

Inside Israel, protests have erupted against the ongoing crimes against humanity in Gaza. Thousands of people have blocked highways in Tel Aviv to demonstrate against Netanyahu’s government. A significant portion of these protesters are Jewish, standing for peace and opposing military occupation.

So, the real question is: Whom should we resist? If we indiscriminately harbor hostility toward an entire nation or people without rational judgment, even innocent individuals will become victims of our hatred. History teaches us that our battle should not be against the existence of any race or country but against oppression and injustice.

Therefore, we seek the destruction of tyranny, the downfall of oppression. But as human beings, we must always stand for justice, not hatred.
