Silvi wasn’t technically alone in this world. She had a family of six. Her parents, an elder brother, a sister-in-law, a lovely nephew, and her grandmother.

Silvi called her grandmother, Dadan. She was the only person who never cared about what she did in life while loving her. She always supported her regardless of the result. But the rest of her family wasn’t the same.

Her father, a retired Army colonel, never approved of the lifestyle his daughter chose. Her mother never had a say in the decisions her father took. Her brother, too scared to look in their father’s eyes, only followed his decisions like an order.

Silvi wasn’t the same. She knew how to rebel. To follow her dream even if it meant being forever detached from her family. A family that never supported her, never understood her dreams, and made her completely alone in this ugly world.

Bozo sat on the ground beside Silvi. Silvi looked at Bozo with her droopy eyes. When she found him, he was just a puppy. A little brown treat to the eyes. One of his legs was injured. He seemed like a pet dog, but no matter how much Silvi looked for him, she couldn’t find his owner. Maybe they left him because he wasn’t perfect, a young Silvi who got cast away from her house thought. She took him in without a second thought. Another life in the world that was not accepted by its people for being different.

Silvi met the love of her life, Emon, when she was 17. Her vibrant, confident young soul recently got a reality check from life after losing the Next Top Model competition. She realized no matter how good she was, there would always be people in the world who were better than her, more talented than her, and more loved than her.

It was the time when Emon entered her life with rays of hope to start anew. He made her feel she was important, she was loved, and she was doing great.

Emon was a struggling actor when they met. He was a popular child artist and did many small roles in recent times. And Silvi was a new model, struggling to find work. They were perfect together.

With many twists and turns of life, Silvi received her first movie offer unexpectedly. When she first told Emon about it, he was the happiest person on earth.

That night, they saw the sky full of stars and dreamed of how one day they would act opposite each other in some movie. And years later, they did. It turned out to be the only flop movie of the top actress Silvi Sinha’s career.

Their relationship saw sunshine and storms. They were supposed to get married soon. But everything went astray. A relationship of 12 years ended in 12 seconds.

In last year’s award ceremony, when Emon won the Best Actor award, the young actress Nayra Khan placed a proud kiss on his lips to declare their love in front of the public.

All the cameras focused on their kiss and Silvi’s shocked reaction to that. One award night ruined everything Silvi ever dreamed of.

But the horror didn’t end there. The media, the paparazzi, and the film industry started to target Silvi after that. For some reason, in this country, men are never at fault. The media broadcast with pride that the career-driven mindset of Silvi ruined her beautiful relationship.

When everybody thought it was the death of a star, Silvi proved all of them wrong. Her next movie, ‘Onukto’, ended up becoming the highest-grossing film in the history of Dollywood. Her solo presence became a tight slap in the face of every person in the industry who prayed for her downfall.

Endless blockbuster movies, the highest paychecks among the cast, becoming the brandambassadors of elegant brands—career-wise, Silvi achieved it all in her small life.

Just one thing she couldn’t achieve was the ‘Top Model’ title. The insecurities of not being the best at what she loved ate her inside. Gradually, she shifted her career path to acting and became the best there.

Silvi Sinha, who never became satisfied with anything but the best. The top actress. The nation's sweetheart. The industry's unkillable phoenix. Silvi was the definition of elegance and beauty.

But it was rather lonely at the top.
