Horticulturist
I am an agriculturist (B.Sc. Ag), an environmental scientist (M.S.), and a naturalist at heart. Professionally, I work as a horticulturist, closely engaged with plants, landscapes, and the living systems that sustain both people and place.
My writing grows from a deep interest in agriculture, earth systems, science, environment, and society—and the often fragile relationships between them. I am especially drawn to nature: its quiet intelligence, its resilience, and its vulnerability in the face of human choices.
Motherhood, professional life, and lived experience have shaped my voice. Some of my work is analytical, grounded in scientific understanding; some is reflective, shaped by observation and emotion.
